The Coalition on Appalachian Substance Abuse Policy (CASAP) is a regional organization that seeks: change in public policy, to increase human and financial resources, development of educational materials, and provides a forum for knowledge exchange so that substance abuse in Appalachia does not harm nor impede economic development.
CASAP currently consists of members from the following Appalachian states: Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
